The Election Administrator is appointed by the Election Commission and is responsible for organizing all matters related to local elections in the County, including voter and candidate registration, conducting the elections, and tallying the vote.
Municipal Court for the City of Clifton is presided over by Judge James Y. Ross, who is also General Sessions Court Judge for Wayne County, Tennessee. Municipal Court is held monthly with dates to be announced in advance, at 5:00 p.m. in City Hall. The entrance is located behind City Hall. Call City Hall if you are not sure when to attend.
