Hassell-Carroll Field (M29) is a civil and general aviation airport. It serves Clifton and Wayne County and is owned and operated by the Clifton Airport Authority. The facility's elevation is 401 feet, and is a distance of roughly one mile east of Clifton. The airport offers a courtesy car for travelers taking local trips.
Many pilots in the surrounding area enjoy flying into our airport, renting a boat at the Clifton Marina in order to spend a day on the Tennessee River, playing golf at our Jack Nicklaus signature golf course - Ross Creek or shopping and dining on Clifton's Main Street. A courtesy car is available to pilots using our airport.
A terminal building is located just as you enter the airport on your left. For all other inquiries please contact Clifton City Hall. The City Manager is also the Airport Manager and the Clifton Airport Authority Board members are nominated by the City of Clifton's Board of Commissioners and serve at their pleasure for five (5) year terms.
